The Administrative Core will continue to function as the chief administrative unit of this Superfund Research Program. The goals of the Core are:

  1. To provide leadership and facilitate interaction and communication among investigators;
  2. To foster interaction among Research Projects, Research Facility Cores, Training and Research Translation Cores and to facilitate the dissemination across these units and to the outside world;
  3. To supervise the utilization of the Research Support Core Facilities;
  4. To coordinate the reviews of SRP activities by a nine-member External Advisory Committee;
  5. To coordinate SRP activities, including seminars, retreats, symposia, and the preparation of the annual progress reports; and,
  6. To manage the Program's budget.
