Collaborating Partnerships

The Columbia University Superfund Research Program demonstrates the value of multidisciplinary partnerships among scientists and staff from different departments, centers, and institutes within the university along with collaborators from other academic institutions and government agencies. Through such collaborations, the program seeks to obtain new knowledge, facilitate the translation of these findings into policy applications, and train pre- and post-doctoral students regarding the health effects, geochemistry, and remediation of As and Mn, especially related to groundwater.
